Criminals looted Rs 2 lakh Japanese currency from an NRI couple in Bodh Gaya. However, with the help of the villagers, one of the criminals was caught with the looted goods. Three criminals involved in this robbery incident fled from there, while raids are being conducted at various places to arrest the other three criminals involved in this robbery incident.
The bag was looted by spraying spray
Regarding the incident, police say that the criminals first stopped the vehicle by dodging it near Vermij Vihar Buddhist Monastery of Bodhgaya police station area. Then after spraying the spray they fled with a bag full of money in the vehicle. NRI couple Anup Kumar of Bakraur village of Bodh Gaya had left for the airport with his Japanese wife. They had a flight from Indigo to Kolkata and then from Kolkata to Japan, but as soon as both of them reached Vermij Vihar Buddhist Monastery, someone pointed out that the mobile phone had fallen from the vehicle. After which we stopped the vehicle and saw that there was nothing there. Then the criminals sprayed the people sitting in the vehicle and fled with the bags kept in the vehicle.
Criminal caught after chasing with the help of auto driver
Victim Anup Kumar told that his bag contained many important documents including 2 lakh Japanese currency, laptop, mobile phone, passport, visa, NRI card. Immediately after the incident, the presence of mind of the driver of the vehicle and the local auto driver chased the criminals in the direction of their escape. During this time, with the help of the villagers, a criminal was caught and people beat him severely and handed him over to the police of Bodh Gaya police station. However, three criminals fled from there. The police of Bodhgaya police station is interrogating the arrested criminal. Also, raids are being conducted at various places to arrest the other three criminals involved in this robbery incident. The police have recovered all the loot from the arrested criminal.
